Land of Senia
The Landing: a seaside town with a pier, houses and townsfolk, where every hero wakes up

A casual RPG for the Mac

A whole world.
On your schedule.

You wake on a beach beside a burned ship. The Company promised gold. The land had other ideas. Explore a strange coast, help the people stranded on it, and make yourself a home, ten minutes at a time or a whole evening.

Play it your way

Big adventure. Small pieces.

Land of Senia is made for people who love role-playing games but don't have hours to give them. Every few minutes, something good happens: a quest done, a new place on your chart, a level, a fish you've never seen.

Stop whenever you like. The game saves on its own, and when you come back it tells you where you were and the one easy thing to do next. You'll never wonder what to do: the Next line and its arrow always point the way.

No timers that punish you for being away. No daily chores. No grind you have to do.

What you'll do

Something for every kind of player

Explore

Ten lands, three islands

Meadows, marshes, a gorge that changes sides, a lake that's too still. A fogged chart fills in as you go, and some places you'll only find by looking.

Quest

More than seventy quests

Odd jobs, missing people, mysteries, and the story of the coast. Each town has its own folk, and its own grudges.

Fight

Simple, clever fights

Turn-based, with friends at your side. Big bosses warn you before they strike, so smart play wins.

Make

Fish, gather and cook

Chop wood, pick herbs, cast a line, and cook it all into something worth eating before a long walk.

Settle

A home, and pets

Earn a place to call your own, fill it with things you like, and adopt pets you can rename.

Collect

110 awards

Awards and titles for nearly everything you do, and people greet you by the biggest thing you've beaten.

Choose who you are

Four callings

Warden, who stands in front and is hard to put down. Breaker, who hits the biggest thing in the fight. Duelist, quick and exact. Shade, who trips, steals and is never quite where you look.

Keep up to four heroes at once. Your awards and your home are shared between them, so a second hero is never starting from nothing.

Washed up on the beach

A message in a bottle

Letters wash up on the beach from the ship that sailed home. The man who wrote most of them is always sure things are going well.

Dear settlers! The voyage home is a triumph. Provisions remain abundant. Morale is excellent. Help is on the way, in a sense.

Who makes it

Made by a lifelong player

I'm Steve Sparks. I've played online worlds since Ultima Online: The Second Age, through World of Warcraft and many more. What I loved most were the small moments: a new town on the horizon, a silly letter from a stranger, a friend at your side when the fight turns.

My passion is casual games: easy to pick up, fun for anybody, and with enough to do that you want to come back, without feeling you have to give it your life. Land of Senia is that game. I made it with Claude Code, working together, from the first map to the last bug fix.

The artwork and music come from artists I admire, licensed for the game: the Runehollow pixel art by znxr and the music of AlkaKrab. No AI was used to make the art or the music.

Gentle by design

Text you can make bigger. Your own keys. An easier setting, and a slower pace if you want one. No flashing and no screen shake. Nothing moves suddenly without a reason.

Safe for all ages

No chat with strangers, no ads, no purchases, no accounts. The game saves on your own Mac and sends nothing anywhere.
